2005 HONDA ELEMENT EX (Salvage Title)VIN: 5J6YH28655L0089184 DOOR I4 MPI DOHC 16VGASOLINEALL WHEEL DRIVE KBB This is a2005 Honda Element Ex 2.4 L . I had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic and gave the green flagto buy it. The Woman who owned the Element disclosed that someone backed intoher and she had the bumper replaced which is why the vehicle was totaled. We hada conversation that was about how insurance companies will total a vehicle forseemingly silly reasons. When I asked the seller if the vehicle had frame damageshe said no. Upon having a different mechanic take a look at it a second time heput it on a lift said that although the Element is drivable said there is someframe damage and it needs to go to an auto body shop or the tires will get wornout very quickly- so the person I purchased it from wasnt 100% honest. The carruns and drives and ive probably put 10 miles on it since I bought it anddidn't feel anything strange out of the ordinary. Pros:Runs and drives verynicely. The brake system, steering suspension components, lighting, fluids andfilters, belts and hoses and engine are all in good shape. Known Issues(Diagnosed by a mechanic)Front frame damageNo Sway Bar LinkMissing rear wiperbottleThe hood button doesnt work so it has to be opened with a pair of pliers. I will include the new hood button in the glovebox. The license plates in thepictures do not come with the vehicle. What I have is the vehicle, 1 key, theOregon salvage title, owners manual and the letter of sale.
